As mentioned before, there's enough nations which play cricket for it to be Olympic viable. The challenge, like baseball/softball is the venue size. -
I mean, there are plenty of Olympic sports and events that cater very specifically to North America, East Asia and (especially) Europe, I don't think it's a bad thing to have one sport that caters to the Indian subcontinent. Especially since that's more people than North America and Europe combined. Also, IMO on the merrits cricket is definitively worthy of Olympic inclusion.

Julio Velasco has been confirmed as the head coach of the women's Italian National Team until the 2028 Olympic Games meanwhile, Karch Kiraly has switched position and now he's the new head coach of the US men's National Team (always looking forward to the 2028 Olympics in LA)
