So according to my quick count :CAN :DEN :GBR :ITA :KOR :SWE :SUI are qualified for the Olympics, last place will be decided between :NOR & :CHN, the later needing a medal to do so.

For the Qualification tournament, :USA :JPN :TUR & :EST are qualified, joined by either the Norwegians or the Chinese.

And in the Pre Qualification tournament we’ll have:

:LTU :NZL from 2024/2025 Worlds

:CZE :GER :HUN  from 2024/2025 Europe Division A

:AUS :MEX :TPE  from 2024/2025 Pan Continental Division A

If china goes to final :CHN qualify, otherwise :NOR

So China have to win :SWE and :SUI to qualify directly to olympic....

No, :CHN needs 11 points, so any medal including a bronze is necessary.  And just wow, none of us were talking :JPN and if they had won that nail biter against :SWE then they would be the ones sitting in the olympic spot waiting for :CHN

Semifinals

:CAN v. :KOR

:SUI v. :CHN

China with another big win over Sweden in their qualification game to advance to the semifinals. They need a medal to qualify for the Olympics otherwise Norway goes. Odds aren’t looking good for Norway at this point…

    • Stefania Constantini and her team out of Italy are heading their separate ways   Very confused to be honest, I know they had a bad season but I didn't expect to this happening... there's no real other options for any of them, unless they're focusing on Rock League/mixed doubles.   Italy has no other top female team, and the juniors aren't looking promising either, the last time they qualified a team to a World Juniors (not as host) was in 2014. Doubt the Italian Federation would let Constantini step away from the four-player game, she's too much of a talent, my guess is she'll "be forced" to go with Mariani (I mean her and Mosaner don't like each other much), still I have no idea who else they'd pick up given it's all five of them going their separate ways. Maybe Mathis will go back to representing Switzerland??
