At least, unlike Ivan Zaytsev, he never refused to play for the national team because of a sponsor. ;)

But I don't think that refused in any major tournament? Remind me when that was? Tzar, it was Tzar... With someone like that we would be one level higher than with the duo: Romano/Rychlicki.

I really admire Romanov today. He has nice potential.

It's a pity that now he will go to play in Siberia and we will not see much of him in ITA.

European Championship. If it had been up to me, Ivan would never have returned to the national team

De Giorgi said goodbye to him in a controversial case in the middle of the summer of 2022, although of course Ivan was no longer as dominant in the OPP as he once was.

A good Italian journalist commented that final - Francesco Pancani, who has been covering cycling for many years ago, which is a pity, because the current Italian commentary on Rai is terrible: Lucchetta with that other strange man:lol:

The women's World Championship final was on Rai Uno (first public canal in Italy) and the men's NT only on Rai Due... I hope they will trolling this funny people and win gold tomorrow, because it's sad to see how badly these boys are treated compared to the girls since last year:hairpull:

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)
