At the risk of cursing us, today is the first day I'm expecting us to win a bunch of medals. I reckon we have six very good chances today:

Men's 200m free

Mountain Bike

Team Eventing

Individual Eventing

10m Synchro

Team Final - Gymnastics

And we have a bunch of maybes.

By contrast, day 1 and 2 only had six chances each day, and some of them were maybes.

Obviously, if today doesn't go well, it's not a good sign.

It's also worth noting that our 4 medals thus far have come in 4 different sports. Which keeps up our recent record of being one of the more diverse medal winning nations out there. Obviously I want us to win a ton of medals but knowing that we are competitive in a lot of sports is a very pleasing thing. I prefer that to being very good at 1 or 2 and that's it.

Will say that two medals are not implausible from the eventing. Tom is under a fence behind bronze currently. Burgess is another maybe, 2 outside hopes for medals in the pool with OM and AE.

But today feels like a big day, we really need the eventing team and Pidcock to bring home gold for some momentum
