Easily made it. Under 1.06.

if she doesnt give away at least 6-7 metres at the start she is in PB territory. I can't believe how well she came back there, she was nowhere at halfway

Sad but at least Qin is off the podium.

Are we going to get a gold in the pool - suspect not. Sad we won golds in three overnight Olympics and probally none in the evening ones.

What on Earth makes you think the 4x2 boys are getting beaten

Thought Adam might get silver this time but didn't expect that winner. All about the finish. Still, a fine medal.

GBR are exactly where I thought they would be from these first 2 days, although I didn't quite expect the journey that we've taken to get here!

Just the form. I can see them getting silver or bronze.

Sorry but what form? What team are you seeing as being better than us having 2 in the final, with 2 guys who could well have pushed into the top 16...? Seriously, what team is winning gold for you? The US have Hobson in form, and possibly Foster to come in, but beyond that? Guiliano couldn't make the semi finals

You mean the form that has them being the only nation with 2 swimmers in the final of the individual 200m?!?

I get that you are Mr Doom and Gloom but that's just a weird take. It's perfectly possible that we won't win gold but if that happens it won't be because we've not shown form.

This night was very close to being perfect for GB but poor Max getting 4th again and Peaty being out touched has left me feeling crushed.

Well done to Angharad, Duncan, Matt and Ollie all making finals tonight. That in itself is a great result. Hope we can get on the right side of the close finishes tomorrow.

    • fencingtv.com   now it's all there (needs registration, but for now it's free of charge, so it's still OK)
    • many athletes didn't get their visa 2  Schengen , canada , usa ...do it all the time  it's a new strategy to increase the chance of medals
    • Four  (Duguma, Berha, Kalayu, Siyoum) got denied visas even though they competed in Toruń in Febraury  Must be some Schengen visa rules crap?
    • Yep, I actually think this Schwaller team is only just getting better every single year, and there’s not many viable options at third and fourth in the Swiss women’s curling scene, there’s only some good but not great players.   If Paetz and Tirinzoni both retire before the next quadrennial (likely for Tirinzoni, she said at the end of last year that the recent GSOC event would be her last) then Berset-Witschonke-Howald-Hurlimann is the best you can do and I don’t think the firepower is there. If Paetz keeps going, and it’s Witschoke-Howald-Hurlimann-Paetz then it’ll be interesting, but it’s also hard to predict.
    • The Canucks have started their tank this season and now we’re awful, so I’ll only be watching when the playoffs start  at least we get a guaranteed top 3 pick, but even that probably won’t go our way.   Fencing WC’s are interesting yep, if I can find a stream and if our top fencers are competing or make it to the R16 or further.    Speaking of basketball, I forgot about NBA
    • because of schedule , after 1 month of fasting , Things could be better for africans 2 weeks later
    • Always a 6 week lull between the end of the full Winter Sports season and the Summer Sports season gets going in early May.  OK, there is stuff going on, but not three or four things a weekend.
    • Only a few Ethiopians, hardly any Kenyans, no Ugandans.....
    • LOL worst results for  Africa  , 2 bronze only  in triple jump men/women ...nothing in middle distances , strange
