And it’s incredibly unfair too to the winner of the series as they get one race to get familiar with the conditions of the day. It’s not hard to make it better. I do think they should have a kind of warm-up race on finals day, yes. A race or something with everyone who races on finals day, which doesn't count for anything other than getting familiar with the conditions. The knockout format itself can stay, as far as I'm concerned. But you know, different people, different opinions Josh and Epic Failure 2 If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! heywoodu 14,901 Posted August 3 #108 Share Posted August 3 Bigger shame was that the race was recalled for nothing: they thought it was a false start, but it wasn't If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Faramir 359 Posted August 3 #109 Share Posted August 3 (edited) The men were all close in the standings so it's not comparable to the women's event. But I checked and Wilson suffered the same fate in the 2024 and 2023 WCh after clearly winning the series...so maybe it's her own limit of not being able to deliver in a single race with all the pressure on her. It is part of the game. Don't just be good in qualifying, be good in finals if you want to win..
