First handball match of the Olympics!  (and my first since the Olympic Qualifying Tournaments)

Looks like a nice venue too - big crowd for 09:00 in the morning.  Hopefully they will recreate the atmosphere at the Copper Box in London.

What they need is a DJ & dancers to come on during breaks in play, that got the kids going.  But in London handball was pretty much the cheapest ticket, so lots of families. Probably more expensive here.

In France Handball is the 6th most popular sport (after football, tennis, equestrian, basketball and judo) with more than 450 000 registered members. I’m sure it’s not the same in UK.
