This is understandable though, people here also enjoyed speed skating point race or whatever it is named much more than the individual events during the winter olympics and calling them boring waste

Exactly, and here we generally dislike the (current format of) the mass start  

 

Considering like speed skating, canoe slalom is a rather niche and obscure sport in the world, I think a majority of Olympic viewers will actually like it...

 

Curious what (all of) the athletes think of it, that's the most important I think.
