There really needs to be some definitive tests to see how much of an advantage the two gold medalists had because the moment they completely open the doors for this, women's boxing will be over.

Ok, i'm not an expert, scientist etc. But i guess some small hormonal differencies always were, are and will be. Also amongst....male athletes. This is not a questions of test but of definition. Do you have a hormonal definition of female and male? There always will be different views and so...controversions. If you have one...i'm waiting.

I fell in love with sports.....since i first seen it

When she was younger , she hit one boy at school, they took him to the hospital , doctor was shocked by saying : little girl can't do something like that impossible

She is a real SuperSayan  ,sister of Sangoku joker.gif

I wish we had 41 athletes like her , we could dominate this table of medals joker.gif

Turns out it's surprisingly hard to make a consistent rule where everyone fits into a "male" and "female" binary for sports purposes.

I really don't envy the people who have to draft up rules for this.

Yep, exactly. I think we all forgot that we also have different hormonal levels. So sure, we can make some definitions but we will always have controversion which "dose" is this "right". How to define male and female...impossible imo. The problem we had here was that at least Taipei boxer was dsq by boxing fed. And looking at this final bout with Julia...well i had some doubts. But i also accept that we are not all the same and such cases will happen from time to time. The only thing that worries me is level of hate, even in PL.

There's no easy answer for this and can sometimes get a bit philosophical. "What is a woman?" "Does the sport classification of a woman differ?" "If so, in what ways?" "Do some biological women not fit the definition of a sports classification woman?" "Can some trans women fit the definition of a sports classification woman?"

Not a fun exercise...
