Yea but she is also debating going into volleyball as well and isn't fully committed to track and field

Just coming back to this thread… is she any good at volleyball? Could she potentially make the senior national team in the future?

Madogo is 4th alternate in women’s 100m, Rynda 7th alternate in women’s 800m, Current 5th alternate in women’s 1500m, Scott 2nd alternate in women’s 5000m, De-Bues Stafford 8th alternate in women’s 5000m, Staehli 10th alternate in women’s 5000m (including Great Britain), Walker 7th alternate in women’s 400m hurdles, Fetherstonhaugh 7th alternate in women’s 3000m steeplechase, Tunks 4th alternate in women’s discus throw (including Great Britain), Butler 7th alternate in women’s hammer throw (including Great Britain), Gleadle 9th alternate in women’s javelin throw, Thorne 3rd alternate in men’s 110m hurdles.

Realistically only Thorne, Scott, and maybe Current/Tunks have a chance at a quota although unlikely.

Are there other countries that got as many people ranked 3-10 alternates as we do? It seems like a lot.

So in total that’s 42 athletes, not including potential reallocations. Decent number for Canada, was hoping for more though.

Does this include relay additions?

If its 42, we are looking at a team size of around 308 ~ Which is less than Rio (which had less events/sports)
