the European competition is now limited only to  (2 boats),  (2 boats) and  (1 boat) since all the other crews in the hunt for the Olympic Qualification are relegated to the Silver Fleet and can't finish higher than the 3 Countries named earlier

 

the same is for South America:  can't be caught by the other Nations, as they're in the Gold Fleet meanwhile all of their opponents are in the Silver Fleet

therefore  are mathematically qualified to the Olympic Games

Ferociously tough ask now for Italy with one race left and two British boats way ahead of them (27 pt lead GBR1 - ITA1 with maximum 31 possible gained if GBR are DQ and Italy win);

 

this looks like a quota for GBR now.

Thank god we've secured this one. I was getting concerned that we won't max out in sailing quotas, which would've been a disaster. Now all we need is the men's kite quota at the last chance regatta. Considering we bottled it completely in Portsmouth, we should be favourite to take one of the two spots.
