:CAN sweep :GER :yes:cheer:

6.52 points towards our World Ranking, increasing our lead over Netherlands for the final Olympic quota to 13.7 points!!

KVR put up a few errors near the end (hasn’t been having the best of weeks), but redeemed herself with 4 control blocks on set point, and the game winning swing into the corner.

Good win by Canada, Germany felt like a trap opponent that could have costed a lot of points.

:NED face :DOM tomorrow. A win for the Netherlands will grant them big points, this is something probably needed if they want to catch Canada.

Eh. Germany played really well today but I thought they were unlikely to cause the upset with how well Canada have been playing, and the fact that they don’t have Orthmann (still recovering from injury?) and Drewniok (who retired from the national team again after week) on the team.

:NED 3 - 1 :DOM

Really should've won this one 3-0, but at least we're staying close.

How close you wonder? In the hypothetical case that :CAN would lose 1-3 to :SRB tonight, there will be only 0.02 points difference!! (in the favour of :CAN )

Really love how clearly the Volleyball World schedule and rankings display the ranking points and the consequences of every win or loss.

    • Regarding the swimming they have added the 800m for men and the 1500m for women so cutting numbers would be odd.
