So this last operation didn't help?

Not really. She just had a second surgery. The doctors aren’t so pessimistic, but if she’ll be able to compete the next season, it will most likely be just the Olympics and nothing else.

:MEX Regina Martinez Lorenzo has know achieved the minimum points in distance, so now we also have a women in cross country ski, the first one ever if I’m not mistaken.

Meanwhile, mother-son duo Sarah Schleper - Lasse Gaxiola are likely to be our representatives in Alpine skiing.

In total we will have 5 athletes, one more than in the last two editions.

    • Switzerland lost their second place in the men's SC to Italy in the last qualifying race, which also means Italy, not Switzerland, will be able to field two teams in the mixed doubles. Italy will have a 3+3 QO in both the men's and women's races, which, however, is also a regression from 2022: back then, it was 4+4. Fortunately, Filippo Ferrari has been in excellent form in last weeks, and thanks to him, we have this third quota in the men's SC. I hope you don't hold that against us
