Note: I'm pretty sure South Africa won't be a factor unless two nations really mess up here.

I think this was a much needed defeat. Big shame for the federation for the squad chosen. 

 

The women's team here internationally is India no 1, 3, 6, 7.

Some horrible choice of squad. Archana Kamath  former youth Olympic semifinalist, the no 2 and also world no 4 in doubles with manika was not chosen. So was the no 4 Suthirtha who has beaten numerous top players and was instrumental in pushing the olympic team qualifier playoff against Romania to 5th game after beating Szocks back then.
