https://worldarchery.org/world-records- this is the offical list and the record is 718 /720  ...so I am not sure what is the world record.......

Previous Men - Outdoor - Recurve - 72 rounds - 70 meters WR was 699/720 held by Im Dong Hyun from London 2012, if I'm right.

There are too many categories, too many WRs. :)

You can actually see Im Donghyun world record(699) at the bottom of the list, 70m round recurve.

Yes, this is a new WR in the Olympic category and that's what counts really. :)

That's for compound. The Olympic bow is recurve. It is a world record

OK .I agree ......my bad as there were so many records .........but still not perfect as many people were claiming ............as the score is out of 720 ...................not 700
