I still think it's a bit ridiculous to have a world series event during the Olympics. They did the same thing in 2016. Even Lac St. Jean is a bad idea.

yeah...I don't really understand FINA...

why always schedule 20% of the entire Series with no chance to have the top swimmers? :wall::hairpull:

Lac St.Jean is always in the schedule...I don't remember the last time they didn't have that location among the stops of the Swimming Marathon Series (nor the last time the top swimmers entered the Canadian Summer events)...:mumble:

I can't find a list of competitors. Are Sharon van Rouwendaal :NED and Ferry Weertman :NED competing?

I think so, but I'm not sure at all...

I only read about the Italians...

we have to wait for FINA to publish some news/results...and knowing how they work, if you don't watch the race on fina.tv (paid service), it's highly likely nothing will be known until the day is over in Qatar...

    • Do you have live coverage of the matches? Does  media know that your national team is participating in a cricket WC?
    • It's close between Mexico and Venezuela. Mexico probably has the better pitching but I think Venezuela is far superior when it comes to star power. They have pretty much all their top guys on offense besides Altuve.   I did accidentally forget Cuba. Call me crazy but I'm placing them 7th behind Panama. Panama is my dark horse team for the tournament and Cuba isn't looking too pretty these days to be honest especially on offense although Canada, Panama and Cuba are all probably roughly in the same tier. Maybe Puerto Rico as well since they're missing their 3 best players on offense.
