Incidentally, FIS-Ski have updated their website and app for the forthcoming season.  Looks like it is going to be a lot easier to follow all the second-tier events like telemark, para, European Cup & age group races which they often covered, but haven't ever been easy to find week-to-week.

You mean in terms of live streams? Because the results page has been looking like it does now for a while already. Not a terrible update, for once, but not great: they used to have a blue M and pink W for men and women's events in the details page (like here FIS Cross-Country - Bruksvallarna (SWE) - Event Details), but that's now all the same color, which is rather annoying when trying to make one's schedule :p

Yeah, if they have all their FTA* live streams on one page, announced in advance, life will be easier. Before you had to sub to about 7 or 8 YT channels to.know what was on every week.

But the results/events Page is also easier, because previously they used to mix up World Cup & say, Balkan Cup events together.

In cross-country there were never mixups like that. And trust me, the cross-country calendar/results page has been one of my most visited pages on all the internet for a few years now, for obvious reasons :p

In fact this weekend's IBSF event from :KOR is a skeleton double header.  No bobsleigh until early December in Europe.

    • I would say the same with Serbia   May the best team win
    • Yes, there are chances for us to make it, but also there are chances for you to beat us by more than 6 goalsOur team is very unpredictable at the moment.
    • My guess is that Montenegro will beat Czech Republic and for the our match it will be about goal difference. I read that if Serbia beat Romania by 6 goals then we will pass. So there are still chances that you can make it.
    • Difficult for us without Neagu But we had some good moments against Montenegro last night. We lost due to many errors in defence, we have to improve that. I don't know what to expect against Serbia, I would say 55% we will go home after group stage, unfortunatly. About the other matches, except Croatia vs Faroe Islands which ended with a draw, not to many surprises.
    • Congrats to Max for another win. Easy race for him   The battle for constructor championship is still running What a disgrace for the directors of the race to not send the safety car on track due to that mirror which caused a puncture to Sainz and Hamilton. By the way, looking of the direction of Bottas when he hit that mirror we can be suspicious that he did that intentionally. Ok, he had to give space to the driver who laped him, but his direction is too strange. Pitty such race was ruined by this incident.
    • World Athletics announce the World Athletes of the Year.  Big awards go to Letsile Tebogo and to Sifan Hassan.    Women’s World Athlete of the Year: Sifan Hassan (NED) Men’s World Athlete of the Year: Letsile Tebogo (BOT) Women’s track: Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone (USA) Women’s field: Yaroslava Mahuchikh (UKR) Women’s out of stadium: Sifan Hassan (NED) Men’s track: Letsile Tebogo (BOT) Men’s field: Mondo Duplantis (SWE) Men’s out of stadium: Tamirat Tola (ETH) Women’s Rising Star: Sembo Almayew (ETH) Men’s Rising Star: Mattia Furlani (ITA)       Seems a bit strange to me - OK, there is a case for Tebogo over Duplantis who can basically win every year, but for me Manuchikh beating an almost 30 year old WR beats winning Olympic Marathon Gold.    Hassan and Tebogo named World Athletes of the Year | World Athletics
    • Former snooker World Champion Terry Griffiths passed away at the age of 77.
    • Doesn't matter if Shiffrin is there or not, it's still a last minute defeat for Wendy Holdener.
    • https://www.reuters.com/sports/russian-uzbek-billionaire-usmanov-elected-president-international-fencing-2024-11-30/   he's officially back...and he'll be worse than ever!
    • boh?    I don't have a consolidated idea yet...   golds? I hope many, but I fear we won't get to 5   medals? hopefully, more than in 2022   the "athlete of the Games"? Davide Ghiotto (speedskating) and Pietro Sighel (short track speedskating) hopefully, also Sofia Goggia (alpine skiing), Arianna Fontana (short track & speedskating) and Stefania Constantini (curling)...but it's just hope, not a prediction   breakthrough? Tommaso Giacomel (men's biathlon)   newcomers? I think the Big Air guys (Tabanelli siblings in freestyle, Matteoli in snowboard), hopefully Erik Canovi in SkiMo (but, as I wrote earlier, I fear it's too early for him, as he's still a junior) with a lot of optimism, Elia Barp (cross-country) and Daniele Di Stefano (speedskating, mass start)   surprising medals? I don't think there's any chance for  to win a truly surprising medal, all those who have just the smallest chance to make the podium, it wouldn't be a true upset if they get it
