It's so stupid how they do 3x3 qualifying. The #1 team in the world not qualified automatically?

Not exactly pleased though, wish we had beaten Italy rather than relying on South Africa to decline their continental quota, but it is what it is

Yeah, the qualification format for 3x3 basketball needs some work.  Quotas through World Rankings are determined by the points of the top 10 players in a country, and since Canada only has 5-6 good players they kind of got screwed over.

Men’s 4x100m medley relay makes it 7/7 for Canada in terms of swimming relays, guaranteeing us an additional four quotas! (Some swimmers will probably double up in both gendered freestyle relays, but for the sake of my numbers I’ll just put it under the assumption that none will)
