Looking at the entry lists, these Games will be a “mixed-bag” as usual. EBU will serve as host broadcaster, and have created a platform identical to one used during the 2023 European Games.

 

I actually considered traveling to these, but it didn’t work out in the end.

Same for me, I would have gone to work at the Beach Tennis results system. But I preferred the Volleyball European championships which are running simultaneously, they are closer to me and with better timing (they play only in the night so I can do my other job during the day). We would meet at the next event

It’s a shame to see a few nations only entering one athlete or pair, but understandable given the packed calendar for many NOCs this year.
 

 competing in their 4th/5th multi-sports games sanctioned by NOCs this year, not to mention other events like University Games, Commonwealth Youth Games, or Island Games.

3 weeks ago we flew over the crete island / iraklion city, very long island with moutains  .... islands are always amazing to watch from the plane

Stayed up late for the first medal event of the Games. I haven’t watched triathlete (modern pentathlon) before, so hoping for some decent streaming coverage.
