NaBUru38 205 Posted January 24, 2020 #11 Share Posted January 24, 2020 World Rugby wants to fit a 16-team men's tournament and a 12-team women's tournament in 2 days. Therefore, there are no quarter-finals, just Cup semis and place matches for the rest. Absoultely insane.

I credit sevens for really opening up the American market to Rugby. I’d say it’s gotten more popular since it was added to the Olympics. bmo 1 “Sport has the power to change the world. Maxim Fastovsky 124 Posted January 25, 2020 #15 Share Posted January 25, 2020 Do they just come with the rules as they go?? the first 2 tournaments were regular quarters, now suddenly they changed it to just semis? this is such bullshit! now USA because of their 2 bad tournaments will never get out of this, they will always be placed with a top 4 team and not be able to get out of the group

SalamAkhi 278 Posted January 26, 2020 #19 Share Posted January 26, 2020 All was set for a NZ win ... Very good result for us again though, 2nd tied overall, who would have imagined that one year ago ?
SalamAkhi 278 Posted January 27, 2020 #20 Share Posted January 27, 2020 Japan once again invited, the fourth time in four tournament this season ... I don't see no invitational side there By the beginning of the new Challenger Series in 3 weeks they'll have had far more elite experience than the other teams, very fair ... I know the Olympics are approaching but I don't see why it should ever grant privileges
