This relay could have an outside shot to win next year if Angus keeps improving and either Oleksiak or Ruck gets back to form.

I think either Masse would also have to get back to form (top-2) or Wilm improve.

Javier Acevedo posted on Instagram that 2024 will be his last year of swimming. I’m ever hopeful that the mens 4x100m freestyle can win a medal next year but they really are one 47 split short of getting it done atm.
