Anyone knows if there is a free streaming for the today men's final?

Congrats on Retornaz win! Italy is on its way to become a powerhouse in curling despite very small base of players if I am not mistaken.

Yeah, the irony is that many nations can become strong just by sponsoring a small core of professional players even without large numbers further down the pyramid.

Yup, Italy have something around 300 curling players (+200 of this are master). We had an Olympic effect with Torini 2006, the curling mania, and it's surge again after Beijing gold medal. It's a great moment for our curling

That is very impressing! Discussed this with my team mates during the swedish super league and we think Retornaz will win the olympic gold in 2026!

Also interesting that only 1 of 8 quarter finalists in the National (the grand slam event last week) was canadian

Championship finals are set at the GSOC WFG Masters! :ITA Team Retornaz will go for a 3rd consecutive GSOC title against :SCO Team Whyte in the men’s final, while :CAN Team Homan will take on :SUI Team Tirinzoni in the women’s final.

Not a good day for my favourite teams, as :SWE Team Edin fell in the tiebreaker round, :CAN Team Gushue in the quarterfinals, :SUI Team Schwaller and :CAN Team Einarson in the semifinals.

:CAN Team Homan win the women’s title at the GSOC WFG* Masters, after defeating :SUI Team Tirinzoni 8-4!

Team Homan now improves to 32-4 on the season! Hopefully they can bring this form to next years Scotties (along with Worlds if they qualify) it’s been a long time since Canada’s last won a World/Olympic title in curling.

    • I have reported this again and they said it should be fixed now, please let me know if you are still facing issues.
    • more countries added to the list of US ban    you can't travel to USA if you are from : burkina faso , niger , Laos , South sudan , mali , sierra leon ...
    • Yes, but what I mean for Serbia is that everything changed there (unfortunately for us ). 2022 was an unbelievable mess, that's not the case anymore now with just one athlete who has really gone for it and made it, so I'm 99% sure they'll accept it this time.   Who knows though. Plus there's always 1-2 bigger countries here or there who reject something, but it's not gonna be 16 places I'm afraid
    • Doping by Event Type When we look at which events have the most doping cases, a few categories stand out from recent sanction records: Long Distance (3,000m and above): 32% of cases Sprints (400m or less): 24% of cases Jumps: 12% of cases Javelin: 8% of cases Middle Distance (800m–1,500m): 8% of cases Hammer: 8% of cases Steeplechase (3,000m SC): 4% of cases
    • From 2020 to 2025    These three countries alone make up almost two-thirds (61.9%) of all current doping violations in athletics worldwide. It’s worth noting that 199 of World Athletics’ 214 member federations have no athletes on the current ban list. This means the problem is really concentrated in a small number of places. Here’s a look at the top countries: Rank Country Total Violations Percentage Region 1 Kenya 119 24.74% Africa 2 India 108 22.45% Asia 3 Russia 73 15.18% Europe 4 China 26 5.40% Asia 5 Turkey 20 4.16% Europe 6 Italy 18 3.74% Europe 7 South Africa 18 3.74% Africa 8 Ukraine 17 3.53% Europe 9 United States 16 3.33% North America 10 Morocco 15 3.12% Africa
