He could not race a single time for the rest of the world cups and he still would have a 500m quota.

You're right, and I was thinking it too after I posted that. I was thinking 1000. Which is probably also fine, too.

Go check Wikipedia, just updated the men's 1000m standings ;)

 

(Haven't updated the Women's rankings yet because the world cup ranking isn't accurate yet because it doesn't reflect a DQ that happened)
