'Total waste of time', 'complete fraud', haha  Always good for some entertaining overacting :)

If Hannah Prock's last name wasn't Prock, she wouldn't be starting in World Cup, period :dunno:

  • 2 weeks later...

Caitlin Nash and Natalie Corless qualified for the doubles World Cup race in Whistler by finishing 11th in the Nations Cup (ok, there were only 11 sleds)...they are 16 years old and as you might have guessed, they are girls! That is really, really, really, really long ago women competed in the doubles in the highest level :d

They will also be in St. Moritz In about 4 weeks time :d. Great experience for those girls though. I’d be nice to see a full time women’s doubles team on the World Cup (even if they knew they’d never win)

and they were only just over a second outside the fastest time of that race (1.6 seconds outside the track record, which is even more impressive) :yikes:

and Natalie Corless was also 10th in the women's Nations Cup...

unfortunately for her, she's not part of the official Canadian team and won't be able to start in the actual women's singles world cup race, despite being faster than 7 of the qualified girls...

p.s. nice to see Emanuel Rieder back with the Italian team after this Autumn's injury (and it looks that the -almost- new doubles combo with Simon Kainzwaldner is also quite promising, already faster than the supposed no.2 Ludwig Rieder/Patrick Rastner...and actually, they won the NC race :yikes:)...

Ugh, thanks FIL....their messing up of the CET after midnight combined with the date made me think the World Cup in Whistler started today, but apparently it did yesterday..

yeah, men and women's singles are already in the bag...tonight at 10 p.m. CET it's time for the open doubles (we can't say "men's" anymore, I guess :d) and then, after midnight, the sprint races will wrap things up for this week...

Too bad when looking for today's youth results on the FIL website I got spoiled by the big headline about the men's race winner, but I don't know the women's winner yet, so I'll still go and watch that :p

At least it means there's nothing tomorrow night, which is good for me :d
