    • I have no idea honestly. It's fun to have official things though
    • Cool   But also, what now? Like, the banana slug is the 'official California state slug'....so....now what?     Do we get like the LA Banana Slugs in the baseball leagues? Just curious as to what exactly the point is of these state things, definitely out of curiousity
    • 2023 TISC Annual participants might be interested to know that California gained three more state symbols today: https://www.gov.ca.gov/2024/09/27/claws-for-celebration-governor-newsom-signs-legislation-establishing-state-crustacean-slug-and-seashell/   Here’s a list of the others: https://www.library.ca.gov/california-history/state-symbols/

    • Managing sports budgets effectively is essential for fostering athletic talent and promoting physical activity within the nation. Government funding, sponsorships, and community initiatives play a crucial role in shaping the landscape of sports across various levels, from grassroots to elite competitions. Investments in infrastructure, such as sports facilities and equipment, are necessary to ensure athletes have the resources they need to excel. Additionally, allocating funds towards coaching, training programs, and grassroots development helps nurture future talent and encourages wider participation. Balancing these budgets requires a strategic approach that considers both immediate needs and long-term goals. By prioritizing inclusivity and sustainability, sports budgeting can lead to more equitable opportunities and enhance the overall health and well-being of the population. https://bit.ly/47LVD39
    • Yes we are proud to serve our country, i served in the air force and put bombs on planes, it was so fun knowing it might kill some Palestinians, unfortunately all bombs always came back because it wasn't time of war, i envy the guys who are doing the job i used to do, it's so amazing to see the f-15 come back without bombs
