Only if she finishes 22nd or worse Otherwise the result will count for the overall.

Has just gone 1-2, so the coaches will be telling her to take it easy!

Monzanator 4,457 Posted March 5, 2020 #644 Share Posted March 5, 2020 Yeah, this could be a result that won't count for Wierer's overall points. Ivona Fialkova 4/10. Sigh. The WCh form is gone. Milena Todorova 10/10 so the WCh form in still there.
Bohemia 1,371 Posted March 5, 2020 #645 Share Posted March 5, 2020 (edited) Bescond I hope it will be enough for a podium. We can really only count on her lately. Edit: yes, 2nd place for Anaïs! Edited March 5, 2020 by Bohemia

Werloc 3,155 Posted March 5, 2020 #647 Share Posted March 5, 2020 Well, the Lithuanian women look the most alive that they've been all year. If Natalija didn't mess up in the standing shoot, a PB was waiting for her, but she missed two and really a shame for that second one, because she took her time to miss the final target. On the other hand, it is the second best career result for Gabrielė Leščinskaitė in 58th place. She has been really struggling since her junior days and she is slowly getting back to an upwards trajectory in her results. Biathlonfan

I noticed Kocergina was "only" 27 secs behind Herrmann after the first shoot. If she shot 10/10 she'd probably finish around Todorova so a Top 20 result! With this performance, I'm very eager to see the men's sprint and hoping that the fellas won't let me down. Vytautas is a much stronger bet than Kočergina if he shoots clear, Kaukėnas is finally starting to look alive, the only question mark is Dombrovski now whom looked rather dead in the European Championships and decided not to start after the super sprint, so it's not certain if he recovered in the short period of time. RobtheAggie 340 Posted March 6, 2020 #650 Share Posted March 6, 2020 US women had 3 in the top 35, with Joanne Reid 0-0 and 29th. Not too bad. But results like that show how inconstant Susan Dunklee is.
