Now with athletes from  &  being allowed to compete in qualification events under AIN banner & them winning quota places, it is high time IOC must come clean on this issue and not drag on. Either they make a statement/ press release on this issue or sports federations make a clear statement on allocation/ reallocation of quotas won by AIN athletes. 
With just 10 months left for Olympics and qualification in most sports well underway , there needs  to be clarity in this issues.

I think it's very simple, wherever AIN athletes participate in direct qualification events and "win" a quota. that quota will be on standby pending IOC's final decision

 

actually it's IOC's fault, not UWW. and I'm 100% sure they wouldn't do a thing without consulting with the IOC. IOC is fully aware of everything. they just have to make their mind about this. Yes or No.

Its clear, everyone here shouldnt be allowed to compete. My opinion was always the same.

Sport people should be above this. 

Banning whole nation is other thing. I am sure that there are many Russian athletes, wrestlers included, who oppose the war.

Yazdani's defeat was really sad but expeceted. he is a 9 time World and Silver medalist but he just can't beat this Taylor guy

 

but Zare saved the day by his dominating gold medal. at least we are guaranteed to not leave this competition withtout a gold medal.

let me tell you that Shapiev (UZB) wins 3-1 and gets the last 86kg quota, 3 for Asia, 1 for Europe and 1 for America

the last quota also goes to Kurbanov , with a 8-3 win.

 

as the UWW commentator said, he "won" the quota but has to wait for IOC's final decision
