Thornton wins, let's just erase this abomination of a match from our collective minds. If this was the first match you've ever seen, you'll never watch darts again. My eyes physically hurt from this horror.

Today wasn't the best of days in terms of entertainment. Wade threw very well though and loved the improvised chant from the crowd "James Wade and his red chinos"

Final night of the first round. Very few surprises so far, only 5 seeded players lost, while last year it was 10 in the first round. I could see 1 or 2 tonight in James Wilson or Max Hopp win. :)

Just in time back to the TV to see Vincent start his World Championships, after spending almost a week in the TV studio (well, on the evenings) :p

And it probably was his last, since their is an article of him saying he is considering retirement.

Yep, he said it on Dutch TV as soon as his match was over. We'll have to wait and see, his back has been a mess for ages and in the past days he was saying it was finally starting to get better. Maybe he'll consider a surgery (not even specifically to keep playing darts, but to be able to walk pain free), and then who knows what happens..
