A couple of big names have already declared for the athletics competition: Marco Arop and Aaron Brown

In rowing, the men's quad was 6th best in the heats today. They need to be 5th or better to get a full team. The men's lightweight won their heat and should qualify. The women's quad should qualify as well. That leaves the men's four and women's four to compete. The women's lightweight program is not here (Canada won gold in Lima)

Canada will be sending a B men's freestyle team to the Pan Am Championships (no idea why). So I highly doubt we will secure quotas in the 74 and 86 kg events. The women on the other hand will have their A team, and should be able to grab missing quotas.

Looks like the A team is going in Canoeing sprint (B team was sent in 2019).

Open water swim team announced

 

1-2 in women and 2-3 in men will be competing, so very close to an A team. 

 

Ben Miller and Rebecca Smith withdrew from the swim team, replaced with Julie Brousseau and Kevin Zhang
