They've entered the last lap and Glasgow's summer has started, it is absolutely pouring down  (meaning a group has even less of an advantage over a lone rider)

 

Julie Bego of France with a very serious attack for a few kilometers already, she's looking strong.

Ferguson  either doesn't seem to get basic tactics (obviously the French in her wheel isn't going to help her chase down another French) or doesn't know there's someone ahead of them

Think she was looking for one of the other nations to contribute, not the French girl

Later, yes, but at first she was busy gesturing towards the French girl in her wheel when they had split off for a bit from the rest of the group

Are we sure the British girls actually want to win this? So far they are handing it over to Bego on a nice golden plate.

Bego was a level too high for the rest, and the rest just flew the flag of surrender with 15km to go, so yeah, that results in a clear gold for Bego

Also, unbelievable Mohoric doesn't want to ride tomorrow....he would without any form of doubt be one of the absolute top favourites for the world title with his technical skills...
