They've entered the last lap and Glasgow's summer has started, it is absolutely pouring down :d (meaning a group has even less of an advantage over a lone rider)

 

Julie Bego of France with a very serious attack for a few kilometers already, she's looking strong.

Ferguson :GBR either doesn't seem to get basic tactics (obviously the French in her wheel isn't going to help her chase down another French) or doesn't know there's someone ahead of them :d

Think she was looking for one of the other nations to contribute, not the French girl

Bego was a level too high for the rest, and the rest just flew the flag of surrender with 15km to go, so yeah, that results in a clear gold for Bego :d

Also, unbelievable Mohoric doesn't want to ride tomorrow....he would without any form of doubt be one of the absolute top favourites for the world title with his technical skills...

      Just finished with PanAm Weightlifting Championship. Looking forward to the first Boulder World Cup this weekend. The Relay Championships will be good, too.  Might catch some of the W 3x3 action, too. Unfortunately the Ft. Lauderdale Open (Swimming) doesn't have a good stream.   (Might go back and watch the Oceania Weightlifting Championship.)

      So CAN & AUS are auto Q into the semis   SWE v SCO and ITA v JPN are the two qualifiers tomorrow morning. and then the two semis are tomorrow evening.  Medal matches on Sunday.   NZL v FRA and HUN v FIN to avoid the drop to the B division next year.    Unfortunately, not seeing any FTA coverage anywhere.
