Hmmm - all getting a bit messy for the  men. In the space of 12 arrows, Orton drops out of the top 20 and is now 55 whilst Alex Wise is only barely making the cut for the next round. 

 

As a team, they are currently ranked 19th - in the 2021 world champs, they qualified in 5th!

Pretty much worst possible result for  women - by finishing in 9th place they would have to overcome  in quarterfinals. 

 

Bye-bye any chance of a quota here.

Lol, both our team ranked 8th with Korea obvisouly being first seeded. So...bye 

 

Edit: Possibly, our mixed team could also rank 8th (there will be a shootout later)

Not good by the men finish 9th means  And if we win 

 

Women did worse with 13th but in better position.

Maybe in terms of teams that's the best we could get but nonetheless we are not at our best and this isn't our best team either. But no Korea excuse now.

 Men’s team finished 9th while Women’s team finished 13th . Both teams qualified for the knockout rounds as expected although disappointing individual performances except  Dhiraj , who finished a fine 2nd in the ranking round. 
Ankit topped among the 3 girls , finishing on 31st but she missed one arrow completely! 
Hopefully we can fight for the team/ individual quota here.

Yes they are 8th too. 

Well at least we could cheer for our three  teams if they manage to qualify to quarter-finals!

In the men's team, the difference between  and the 2nd ranked best team is 56 points, almost as big (60) than the difference between the 2nd ranked team and the 24th and last qualified one...

Crazy how dominant they can be in a sport that is about millimeters and tiny differences. I wonder how many people do archery as a hobby in South Korea, or if they're just super specialised at elite level.

12th is okay for the girls. Hope they will be able to just manage to get to Paris. Won't be easy to get far here, really has to happen at the qualification meet probably.
