Hairston :ISV posted the slowest time (minus a DSQ) in the men's handcycle time trial. I'm mostly just happy to see a competitor from the US Virgin Islands at the Para Pans after they skipped/missed in 2019.

When you break a WR but don't win a medal...

:BRA Elizabeth Rodrigues set a new WR of 17.80m in the women's Discus Throw F53, but as the event had only two competitors, no medals were awarded.

Winter Paralympians and world medalists in cross-country skiing, :BRA Aline Rocha and Cristian Ribera are now Parapan American Games medalists :yes

Despite winning multiple medals in Track, Brazil has no tradition in wheelchair events, so good move bringing them to the Games.

    • Yes, but Geiger and Wellinger have both achieved some success in major events, while Paschke hasn't. Geiger certainly has a better chance in Cortina than Paschke at now, but it has to be the his decision to withdraw and give a chance to his team- mate. Otherwise, it wouldn't be fair to him. I don't think Horngacher will force him to withdraw.
