mrv86 2,936 Posted August 6, 2019 #121 Share Posted August 6, 2019 No medals for Mexico in springboard... belly flop by Espinosa (but I'm glad)
mrv86 2,936 Posted August 6, 2019 #122 Share Posted August 6, 2019 And also Bacon overscored in that dive. Fair score for Ware, a little short on entry. And also for Abel, the splash ruin a 8.0 dive.

It's what separates the Olympians from the rest. mrv86

mrv86 2,936 Posted August 6, 2019 #125 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Despite any personal feelings towards her, that's attitude from Espinosa... well deserved 8.5 notes.
mrv86 2,936 Posted August 6, 2019 #126 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Flop by Bacon, couldn't control the entry... judges a little too harsh. Schulz overscored... that deserved 7.5 notes. On the contrary, Ware a little underscored this time. And amazing form by Abel
orangeman 1,419 Posted August 6, 2019 #127 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Looks like it'll be a battle for the lesser medals between CAN, MEX and USA. They all have the same level of difficulty on the next two dives, so it'll come down to execution.
orangeman 1,419 Posted August 6, 2019 #128 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Wtf? Ware severely underscored on that dive, imo.
mrv86 2,936 Posted August 6, 2019 #129 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Hernández a little overscored, but only 0.5 in the total notes (before the dd is aplied) Espinosa with great mental strength... she's far from medals but for that redemption. Bacon with a fair score, and great fighting spirit, but she needs to be perfect on her last dive to even get in the podium Schultz with her best dive so far, but now a little underscored, closer to 8.0's. Ware with a fair score, she failed with her legs at the end. Abel scores a little low, more on the 7.5-8.0 range, but still, the gold is hers to lose. So as @orangeman said & for the silver and bronze.
mrv86 2,936 Posted August 6, 2019 #130 Share Posted August 6, 2019 Hernández with a beatiful last dive... fair score, so fingers crossed
