First day medal chance coming up for  tomorrow in the World University Games in Torino - we topped the Round Robin in the Mixed Curling, and play Italy in the Semis at 12:00. then onto Bronze or Gold Final later in the evening.   Live on Discovery Plus and the fisu.tv website.

Small British contingent although fielding the mens relay.

 

Niall Treacy won silver last year although it will be difficult to compete with the Dutch and Italians.

Mia Brookes top qualifier for the Laax Slopestyle tomorrow, we also have qualifiers in the FISU Slopestyle final.

Woohoo  Another medal inthe FISU Games this morning - Silver for Lara Shaw from Luffbro Uni in the Ski Slopestyle.    Not really the spectacular run we see in the Olympics, but solid when everyone else ended up face-down.

Sadly looking unlikely for more Curling medals with both Men & Women stuck on losing records going into the last couple of rounds.

Just to note, Friedrich is liable to lose  2 2-man wins and a 2nd place in the 4-man because his brakeman tested positive in Winterberg so it looks good for an overall World Cup win for Hall
