Oh look proving the point i made,one of the younger guys takes 38 with two misses in the junior cup,meanwhile a female in the world cup is 78 with two misses,and then some genius on facebook claims that the 78th place is amazing,good god.

hope ya'll know that she's actually from France (Youth World Champion with the French relay in 2020/2021 , 5th in the Sprint and 7th in the Individual in the same tournament)...

It was all bad timing for Lie I guess.

Right after the Roesch-Claude enterprise. Myself and probably many others just assumed Belgium started building a women's team as well.

Didn't help them that the first two recruited members had Norwegian and French flags under their names before turning to Belgium

 

So we can't solely take the blame for this.

Belgium does actually have their own biathlon range with 15-16 targets nowadays, since either last year or this year, so they really are working on something good at least, combined with getting half-Belgians to compete for them  

 

With Lie, Cloetens, Claude and Langer Belgium potentially has quite a decent team for a mixed relay.
