and it is possible

the government has just granted an exemption to the tournament. :)Spectators are allowed up to 25% capacity of arenas. They however must be vaccinated twice or healed from the virus for at least 180 days + obviously everybody must wear mask.

will try to book a ticket

42 EUR is quite a lot but hey it is a once in a lifetime experience. and I Never attended a Handball match before :)

So booked a Day Ticket for the 17th :d

:SVK - :RUS at 18:00 and

:LTU - :NOR at 20:30

The Hungarian matches are all sold out, we will break the Hungarian attendance record for handball matches with 20 thousand spectators. Just like at EURO2020 in Budapest, the arenas don't have capacity restrictions.

Meanwhile in the Slovak part it looks we try to make the life for foreigners as much difficult as we can

Following the announcement that for EHF EURO 2022 matches in Slovakia an arena capacity of 25% has been confirmed, the Slovakian organising committee for the championship has provided the following details for fans visiting the matches in Bratislava and Kosice.

  • Every ticket bought remains valid. For some days, including 15 January in Bratislava, ticket sales have stopped due to maximum capacity; for other days there are still tickets available.
  • The maximum capacity for the Ondrej Nepela Aréna in Bratislava is 2,500; for the Steel Arena in Kosice it is 2,080
  • Every fan wishing to attend the matches in either Bratislava or Kosice must be either vaccinated or recovered from Covid-19. Recovered but not vaccinated people can enter Slovakian arenas within 180 days of recovery from Covid-19. Sufficient proof must be provided upon entry.
  • The status of being either vaccinated or recovered applies for every spectator older than 12 years and 2 months. Wearing an FFP2 mask is mandatory for everyone.
  • Every spectator must complete a contact form and provide this form upon entry to the arena. The contact form can be downloaded HERE (Additional forms will be available at the arena).
  • There is no longer a curfew in place between 05:00-22:00 in Slovakia.
  • Refunds on tickets are no longer available.FP2 mask mandatory – valid for all spectators
  • No PCR or anti-gen test is necessary
  • Only every second row will be used for seating fans with one row safety distance between the fans
  • All issued tickets grant access to the arena

Dreadful first match for us, there's a good chance that he will be eliminated in the group stage. Karma for this overly expensive venue that no one here asked for.

    • There will be specialized double sculls...just not for an NOC if it is entering singles specialists.   Either enter 2 singles specialists, or 1 XD specialist pair.   But they can in theory compete in both events, I guess, if they qualify...our top M, I think, does both.   But there are 17M, 17W, and 30 Pairs allotted in the quota, so I don't think the intent is that every singles entry will be in doubles.   (Perhaps this gets to fall in line with Weightlifting, where due to max entry quota, an NOC can't enter in every event, even if they have the best athletes...here, unless you have a pair who qualifies in both.)

    • I read the Olympic qualification documents for weightlifting. A country can have the opportunity to send a maximum of 4 athletes in one gender, but the conditions are very strict.
    • world champion Jessica Schilder opened her season up with 19.78 in France.
    • wait! what???   so, there won't be specialized double sculls, but those boats would have to feature 2 single specialists if a Nation wants to enter 2 proper singles M+W??? tell me I misread the expalaination...
