One would think, the Swiss are pretty educated and don't usually make foolish mistakes either. unfortunately, they seem not, they do.

Wrong anthem for :SVK yesterday, just click at the time of the video to listen the Czech anthem. c´mon, this is not normal in 2019 even from a helvet !

however, the reaction of our girls, pure gold

and the traditional Highlights of the :SVK  match,

this time a with a plenty of goals :p

@hckosice did they sing the :SVK national anthem, or the old :CZE anthem? I don’t know either, I don’t even know the words to Canada’s or Mexico’s.

:SVK. after they understand their mistake. they stopped the czech anthem and played the slovakian

The former Czechoslovak anthem was merely a combination of the anthems already in unofficial use of the two federative nation,

the first verse of the Czech anthem "kde domov muj ? - Where my home is ?" was played first followed immediately by the first verse of the Slovak anthem "Nad Tatrou sa blýska - Lightenings over the Tatras".

Both are nowadays used as national anthems for the new countries. Only the :SVK anthem added one more verse

Spoiler

Former Czechoslovakian anthem

Current Czech Republic national anthem

Current Slovak national anthem

(A similar technique was also used in :YUG at the time, who anthem consisted of parts of those of its constituent states in succession.)

    • On transfermarkt, Raków is worth 42 million euros and Jagiellonia only 32, but it is known that this is only a theory. On paper, the most valuable clubs in Poland are Lech and Raków: €42 million each. Raków have a strong Norwegian attacker from what I can see on internet.
    • Fiorentina gets another  club Raków Czestochowa in R16     Raków manager Marek Papszun moved to Legia lately and the club is slightly less demanding than Jagiellonia IMO. They're unlikely to score more than 1-2 goals in a game even in our league but have a better defense.
    • Fiorentina must play seriously from the first match, becous they played with a reserve squad in both matches against Jagiellonia, with the exception of extra time in the second. Unfortunately, Fiorentina are still close to the relegation zone in Serie A, which explains the staff decisions in the Conference League. It they advance further, they will probably play against Crystal Palace in 1/4 final.
