I think i said 15 place could be reached in the relay,in this track that isn't all that great for us,and yep it happened, despite Kaukėnas flopping in the relay again.

Fillon really seems out of form.

It was already highly questionable in Kontiolahti why he was allowed to finish, but even more so today. He has absolutely no chance against the top runners. Apart from that, he wasn't good as a tail runner last season either.
Why Jacquelin is not running there is extremely questionable, France's last relay victories always came with him as the tail runner, he is good in it.
In tomorrow's women's race Chloe Chevalier has been entered again, although Caroline Colombo is clearly the better option. One has the feeling that in France the relay teams are chosen more according to sympathy than performance.

Huh,would not expect France Biathlon coaches to really care about feelings.

It’s the same debate with relay events in all sports. Do you go with the best four athletes on a given day, like US track & Russian biathlon or do you have a specific relay team like British track or French biathlon?  I don’t think there is a single answer.

Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann watching the men's relay? I assume he's on skiing trip to Kitzbuehel? :coffee:

Seems the whole team were….

Germany and Bayern Munich captain Manuel Neuer's season is over after the goalkeeper broke his leg skiing.

The 36-year-old, whose side failed to qualify for the knockout stages at the World Cup in Qatar, said "I was trying to get my head clear" on the trip.

Btw,apparently this is our new relay record in Austria, yay,i guess?

Yes, I've told you yesterday that we've never been in the top 20 at Hochfilzen, so not getting disqualified was a record in itself :DDD
