No thank you, I had one day of 38°C in Orlando and that was bad enough .

after weeks of forest fire in Sweden finally they got rain and what a rain

Several models are reporting possibly 50 degrees in Portugal in the next few days, so anyone knows where we can follow live updates on that? The European record is 48.0 degrees in Athens in 1977.

Sure we can, but there's quite a lot of talk about it so why not open a thread about it just like with music, movies/series and science/technology? This time I actually agree

I agree with the weather thread  I am passionate about meteorology and climatology. Just yesterday I bought new rain gauge, the previous one was broken by egg-sized hail. Too bad I got it one day later cause the previous night it was pouring for 30 min with such intensity that everything was flooded for several hours. 

 

Also, some global forecast models are expecting 48+ temperatures in Portugal and southern Spain! Even close to 50!
