"guess what? I'd better come out of retirement...maybe I'm not that old and I'm so bored by doing nothing all day long to enjoy after-fencing life"...:yikes::rofl:

this might be what Kim Jung Hwan thought when he read about the Sabre Grand Prix coming to "his" Korea...:mumble::lol::facepalm:

and well, after a few months of doing nothing (in fencing terms, of course), he's still quite good, as he got on the podium in the first competition since last year's world champs...:hyper:

meanwhile, the Italians had another day at the office...which means that they weren't even close to get on the podium...

In fencing is difficult, very difficult to come closer to the podium than losing in quarterfinal.....

sure, but when you lose the quarterfinal match like Curatoli did, also in such case, you've never been even close to get on the podium...

ok, it's just one step further, but if that step is 249 meters long :facepalm:...

Have you seen the semifinals? it's incredible how sun, a robot with zero talent or finesse managed to come back from 8-11 vs Ana :( Would've loved to see a final match Ana vs Navarria.

If the lights light up exactly at the correct moment, he was definitely first, since his light went on first. Not sure if those lights are 100% accurate though?

Inna "the Queen" Deriglazova at the moment is just too strong for anybody...even with a good start, Alice Volpi couldn't do anything against her class...it's 6 wins out of 8 events for her this season...

but let's see if she can lose the most important competition of the year once again later this Summer...:lol:
