The announcers seemed to think he was going to race it.  That'd be three medal races tonight.

If I were the coach I probably won't. Like will Liendo be much faster than Gaziev/Acevedo after two races? Throw in the fact that he might be completely gassed and flop a potential medal chance and it would be too risky.
