The WCF has confirmed to me that the Men’s America’s Challenge will feature 3 nations this year: . There will be no livestream provided by the WCF however.

Guyana kinda feels out of place there, like you're going to a decent restaurant and they have three options: their specialty pasta with some kind of fancy sauce, an expensive piece of meat cut specifically to your wishes, or five French fries.

Imagine a Winter Olympics where Guyana competes

Guyana did a really nice in mixed doubles earlier this year though. Their winning ratio was 3-4 I think.

Brazil lost the first match against Guyana, so they don't look so out of place now. Never underestimate the capacity of Brazilian athletes to fail hard when it comes to winter sports. They are practically nonexistent here, so if the athletes do not move out and train in other countries, they could lose to even a group of Totallympians.

Guyana defeated Brazil in second match also (despite being down 7:4 going into the 10th end).

 

With this win, Guyana qualified for the global qualification event. Let's hope there will be a live stream.

Unfortunately, Guyana won't go this event, and Brazil will replace them. Guyana withdrew due to financial reasons

If I were the GOC, I would be poring money into curling right now. That might be their best chance at an Olympic medal.
