That score would have gotten Rylan Wiens 4th at the Olympics, similarly Margo Erlam's performance in the women's 3m would have won silver. Tanesha Lucoe's performance in the women's 10m would've placed her 7th. Of course, comparing scores between competitions (especially national competitions) isn't the best, but it does show our diving team is still strong. Now we just need someone in the men's 3m...

I really hope our diving team gets a tad more consistent that’s really cost them in the past.

Canada won nine medals at Futures Cup last weekend.

The Canadians swept the podium in the men’s 10 m event. Blainville’s Benjamin Tessier earned himself the gold with a score of 500.35. Rylan Wiens, of Saskatoon, finished second overall with 453.54, just ahead of Matt Cullen (439.30), of Rosemere.

So that is three men over 500 points in the 10m individual event in the last year

Matt Cullen and Benjamin Tessier then earned silver in the synchronized event, thanks to a score of 406.92, which is higher than the score Vincent Riendeau and Nathan Zsombor-Murray had at the 2020 Olympics.

Mia Vallée triumphed in the women’s 3 m event. The Kirkland native totalled 345.80 points, a personal record. This would have been a bronze medal performance in Tokyo!. Alberta’s Margo Erlam, the defending Canadian champion in this event, took home bronze with 309.40 points.

Vallée and Erlam also teamed up for the 3 m synchro event, where they won gold with a score of 305.70., would have been bronze in Tokyo.

Canadian nationals just finished! The men's 10m is stacked. The top 4 all would have placed in the top 6 in Tokyo.

Based on results here is the team I think for Commonwealth Games, Not sure if they will compete in the 1m

Men 1/3m: Cedric Fofana and Bryden Hattie

Men 10m: Benjamin Tessier, Matt Cullen, Rylan Wiens and Nathan Zsombor-Murray

Women 1/3m: Mia Vallee, and Margo Elam (Pamela Ware finished third behind these two in both events)

Women 10m: Caelie McKay and Renee Batalla (surprise winner of the 10m individual).
