phelps 7,670 Posted April 10, 2022 #25 Share Posted April 10, 2022 revolutionary results in the last events of the tournament! so, the USA are the new absolute powerhouse in Fencing... more and more Countries are getting close to the top (if not getting there)... and the dark times are coming for Italy, who had basically a disastrous competition in almost all the individual events (especially among the juniors) and they just saved the face with a couple of team gold medals (which are not so important as the individual ones in the youth classes)... Dnl 691 Posted April 10, 2022 #26 Share Posted April 10, 2022 This was a historic competition for us with 2 silver individual medalists and one silver and one Gold for the teams the future seems bright, crossing my fingers that they will keep that way in the future ( and maybe even an Olympic medal in fencing)
