he is not going to lift that. that's just for show. he will withdraw. he just registered here because he has to register in 6 IWF events for Olympic qualification.

no he will not. that's a sure thing. he already filled the withdrawal paper

unfortunately there is nothing in the rules against registering like this and withdrawing. and for "registering" you have to participate in weight-in and make weight which he did . that's all he had to do to fulfill one of those 6 qualification events.

That´s so incrdeibliy sad. He´s like the most famous doper in weightlifting and he shows up at the world championship 2 years after he got busted.

Hashemi is a two time World Champion now this is great for an average weightlifter like him. we had so many much better weightlifters had to retire with only 1 or 2 bronze or silver.

 

happy for Beiralvand and his bronze medal. that last CJ lift was unexpected.

 

and Sohrab Moradi at 96kg lifted 20kg more than Hashemi here
