Seems to be a bit of delay with boxing.

It sounds like this is the broadcaster for Europe & Asia: https://gametime.sport

It’s the WBSC’s OTT streaming service. You have to pay for a subscription to watch the Games, but it looks like there are a bunch of different packages with different prices. They also claim to provide coverage of all sports. I never used that platform before, so can’t really pass along any notes or opinions about it.

Claudio :ISV got a tough draw. It was always going to be an uphill fight against Bylon :PAN. It was nice to see her stick it out and complete the bout. Pretty commanding victory to Bylon of course.

I have no clue what’s going on in that pool. They were give a walkover win against :COL yesterday. Now, they give one up. Maybe logistics issues, injury, or scoring error?

Also noticed :MTQ Menʻs team has two DNS.

The Suriname team withdrew after one of their players was taken to hospital after arrival in El Salvador, and was later diagnosed with dengue fever.

There is extremely high turnout, and no pollster, politician, or newspaper had predicted it; now they’re all there throwing out data. No one has any idea why people voted, also because it was very technical and almost empty polling stations were expected. It will be interesting to understand whether this is a protest vote against the government or a protest vote against the judiciary.
