These are live streaming :D

I know, but I mean, I couldn't find the results of those World Cups on engarde-service :p

I found Tallinn there now, but the other two are still a mystery to me.

If you'd like to help our fellow Totallympics member Bruna Moura get to the 2026 Winter Olympics, after her car crash on the way to the 2022 Olympics, every tiny bit of help would be greatly appreciated! Full story and how to help can be found here!

Honestly, I don't know how to move on that website as I usually take direct links from the FIE website :d however, for today rounds, here are the results of Bonn (male foil): http://www.fencingworldwide.com/en/competition/68-2018/direct/2 and here are those for Orleans (female sabre):http://www.engarde-service.com/files/rousseau/orleans/indiv/index.php?page=tableauPreliminaire.htm  you should also check for eventual Dutch fencers in the pools :)

What's the best place to find fencing results during these World Cup competitions? FIE's website?

go on the fie homepage and then click on the event's link on the table "Upcoming Tournaments"...there you can find the links to live results and, if available, to live streaming, too...;)

a slow start, to say the least, for Italy...:nopompom:

Only Andrea Cassarà in the men's foil and Alberta Santuccio in the women's epee could get a podium finish in 3 different competitions (and no one of the 2 could even win the event)...

moreover, the women's epee confirm itself as the weapon where we have the biggest troubles...Fiamingo shamefully out in the qualification rounds and reigning world champion Mara Navarria out in round #1...I guess they need a psychiatrist, but a really good one...:wall:

    • From a quick look it appears that all the players in the Filipino men's and women's teams are all based in Switzerland and are Swiss-Filipino dual citizens.
    • That is absolutely certain. Any somewhat reasonable politician should be good enough to win against someone like Trump, even with the unfortunate timing (for the Democrats) of having to carry the brunt of the COVID pandemic consequences and so any Republic having a bit of a head start anyway.   But yeah, dreadful performance overall from Harris, who seemed to start quite positively, but then just lowered herself to Trump's level in terms of throwing shit at each other. That was a terribly dumb choice, nobody is going to beat Trump at the insult game, as we have seen.

    • It was never a priority to stop the war but to prolong it to offload the old weapons systems and keep Russia occupied in a conflict. But the West's strategy backfired as it pushed Russia to friendship with China. Many don't realize as Russia and China are actually adversaries even when they shared a common ideology during the Soviet era
