Curling Canada needs to implement this rule too. Canadian teams are always among the worst at it, and they need more practice in situations where the DCS matters.

Frankly curling Canada also needs to set up the stones the same way the WCF does, too.

No, the DCS is the worst Tiebreaker. Why WCF remove Tiebreaker game after 2017-2018 ..

I don’t care if it’s the worse tie-breaker (it is). Domestic rules and conditions should match the international ones. We are at a disadvantage when domestic competitions use different rules.

Final thoughts

Overall a good day for Canada, we won gold in women's ice hockey and a silver in women's ski cross. We also had a good qualification performance in the men's and women's ski half pipe. The only downside was our curling teams, with the women getting eliminated and the men losing in the semis.

    • Hope so (for my adopted country, Norway, that is). Torino 2006 was the first Winter Olympics I followed closely and it was nothing short of a disaster for Norway. Strangely enough, that was actually the reason I became an avid fan of Norwegian winter sports and have been ever since. As for my actual home country, Greece, a medal for Ginnis in slalom (alpine skiing) would be a miracle.
