I think that there should be an minimum of PB for being allowed to compete in this event, but yes, it would be ok when we would see for example Caster Semenya in pole vault or Usain Bolt in 50km race walk...

It was a DQ for lane infringement, obviously you don't get disqualified if you simply don't finish.

i agree there is no long distances no marathon

and the points are not related to the results

They are. The better your position, the higher the points.
